Head of data & digital transformation in retail

Fami Group is looking for a Head of Data & Digital Transformation to build a unified data management and analytics function, provide leadership with reliable and accessible reporting, and lead the digitalisation and automation of priority business processes in collaboration with department heads, the IT team and external partners.

• Develop a data management and digitalisation roadmap, agreeing priorities and measurable outcomes with leadership.
• Define the company’s data architecture, including key data sources, storage and processing approaches, data exchange principles across business systems, and requirements for data quality and secure access.
• Coordinate analysis of key business areas and work with the relevant departments to develop improvement recommendations, covering sales, profitability, product assortment, inventory, customer footfall and staff workload.
• Develop and automate analytical reports on product category and promotion performance, as well as changes in prices and demand, in line with the commercial team’s needs. Provide comparative analysis of store performance to support business decisions.
• Develop and automate analytical reports on customer groups, shopping baskets and customer churn in line with the marketing team’s needs, supporting the development of targeted and personalised offers.
• Coordinate demand forecasting and analytical support for inventory replenishment and automated ordering to reduce stockouts and excess inventory.
• Build dashboards and automated reports tailored to the needs of leadership and departments, and present findings to support decision-making.
• Coordinate integration projects involving 1C, CRM, the BI platform and other business systems in collaboration with the IT team, relevant departments and contractors. Define requirements for the data to be exchanged, exchange directions and refresh frequency. Oversee implementation, testing and acceptance of integrations, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of transferred data.
• Explore opportunities to use AI tools based on business needs, data availability and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate CRM and other business system implementation and enhancement projects with the IT team and business process owners.

• At least 3 years of experience in data analytics, BI or digital transformation, including team or project leadership.
• Experience delivering projects in data management or BI implementation, business system integration and process automation, with a clear account of personal responsibilities, work delivered and measurable outcomes.
• Practical proficiency in SQL and Power BI or an equivalent analytics tool.
• Knowledge of data modelling, systems integration, cross-system data reconciliation and discrepancy identification.
• Experience implementing, enhancing or integrating CRM systems, including workflow automation.
• Experience working with technical specialists and external partners on requirements definition, work coordination, testing and acceptance.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear requirements, explain complex information clearly and collaborate across teams.
