Global AI/ML Engineer Manager for AI-powered products

• Build, coach, and mentor engineers;
• Contribute directly to code and architecture while developing engineering talent and setting best practices;
• Foster a culture of learning, experimentation, and curiosity;
• Champion engineering excellence, clean architecture, and maintainable code across squads;
• Lead complex backend problem-solving in Python, especially FastAPI;
• Architect and support secure, scalable, and stable APIs and services integrating with LLMs and AWS;
• Promote DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated quality assurance;
• Use AI and agentic engineering tools for rapid development while maintaining code quality;
• Drive adoption and experimentation with LLMs in collaboration with product and research teams;
• Improve team efficiency through AI engineering tools;
• Identify and articulate system-level trade-offs, risks, and opportunities in AI-enabled architectures;
• Track AI and software engineering trends and contribute to technical strategy, experimentation, and roadmap definition;
• Prioritize backlog, align resources, and define architectural strategy for AI-powered products;
• Ensure consistency in technical approaches, exchange best practices, and promote cross-chapter collaboration;
• Embed agile principles into daily practices and strengthen ways of working across squads;
• Drive delivery and support collaboration between engineering, design, and product teams.

• 10+ Years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong backend and API expertise using Python, FastAPI, or Flask;
• 1+ Year of hands-on experience with LLMs, including RAG solutions, agentic workflows, product integrations, Model Context Protocol servers, or Claude Skills;
• Experience in AWS cloud-native development and infrastructure and DevOps principles;
• Strong systems thinking, architectural decision-making, and technical judgment;
• Deep understanding of software design principles and experience building resilient, maintainable, and scalable systems;
• Passion, curiosity, and a proactive mindset with a track record of inspiring teams through complex challenges;
• Experience in fast-paced Agile, product-oriented environments with continuous delivery and cross-functional collaboration;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across functions and seniority levels.
