Finance transformation project manager

Amaris Consulting is looking for an experienced Finance Transformation Project Manager to lead global Finance and ERP transformation initiatives for an international client in the retail sector. You will work closely with Finance, IT, business stakeholders and external partners to deliver complex projects from business case development through implementation and stabilization, driving process standardization, compliance and operational efficiency.

• Lead Finance transformation and ERP projects across global markets, managing the full lifecycle from business case and design to implementation, deployment and stabilization.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, risks, dependencies and governance, ensuring alignment with business priorities and expected outcomes.
• Drive Finance process harmonization, optimization and automation, including improvements to controls and operating models.
• Coordinate functional requirements, fit-gap assessments, solution design and integrations with connected enterprise applications.
• Oversee data migration and reconciliation, testing, deployment and hypercare, ensuring Finance data, master data governance and reporting requirements are addressed.
• Act as the link between Finance and Technology teams, managing senior stakeholders, executive sponsors, system integrators and external vendors.
• Lead communication, training, business readiness and adoption activities across functions and geographies, tracking value realization throughout the transformation.

• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale Finance transformation and ERP implementation projects, with a proven track record in global environments.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end Finance processes: Source-to-Pay, Plan-to-Perform, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Tax and Compliance, Management Accounting and Costing, and Asset Management.
• Experience delivering Finance process standardization, automation, controls improvement and operating model transformation.
• Extensive experience with Finance ERP implementations, upgrades or migrations, covering requirements, design, integrations, testing and deployment.
• Understanding of Finance controls, audit requirements, Finance data models, master data governance, and reporting and analytics solutions.
• Experience overseeing data migration and reconciliation in complex enterprise system environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage senior stakeholders and coordinate consulting partners and third-party vendors.
• Experience managing organizational change, user adoption and alignment across multiple departments and geographies.
• Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and support complex decisions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
