The Flex creates flexible accommodation by operating and managing properties across multiple cities and countries. It combines hospitality, technology and operational excellence to make renting a home as effortless as booking a hotel.

• Lead and strengthen day-to-day financial controls and management reporting;
• Identify manual finance tasks, improve processes and collaborate with engineering teams on automation;
• Reconcile payments from Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, direct reservations and other distribution partners;
• Reconcile bank accounts and incoming transactions, investigate discrepancies and resolve them;
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable;
• Review supplier invoices and company expenses;
• Oversee statutory filings and corporate compliance across several jurisdictions;
• Coordinate with external accountants, tax advisers, auditors and banking partners;
• Assist with financial statements for landlords and property owners;
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools for real-time visibility into company performance;
• Evaluate financial results across properties, cities, countries and business units;
• Create and maintain budgets, forecasts and financial models;
• Track cash flow and support planning for future funding and capital needs;
• Detect financial risks, discrepancies and potential revenue leakage;
• Review the cost base and identify opportunities to improve margins;
• Partner with operational teams to understand, control and reduce property-level costs;
• Contribute to financial due diligence for acquisitions, investments and new-market expansion;
• Communicate financial findings, recommendations and actionable insights to founders and management;
• Develop an understanding of financial performance across major areas during the first 6–12 months;
• Establish dependable monthly management reporting;
• Ensure booking-platform and commercial-partner payments are fully reconciled;
• Improve visibility into cash flow, profitability and unit economics;
• Automate finance processes previously completed manually;
• Build trusted partnerships with founders and management;
• Take responsibility for increasingly important areas of the finance function.

• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with numbers;
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy;
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and financial principles;
• Ability to work with significant volumes of financial and operational data;
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets proficiency;
• Strong financial reconciliation, controls and problem-solving skills;
