• Own end-to-end P&L across multiple contracts and lead senior-level stakeholder relationships;
• Lead month-end consolidation, reporting, and balance-sheet control;
• Manage budgets and forecasts, drive cost control and risk management, and identify growth opportunities;
• Challenge and validate business inputs;
• Produce insight-driven management reporting covering performance versus budget, planning updates, risks, and compliance actions;
• Maintain and apply relevant accounting principles consistently;
• Establish and operate contract-specific accounting policies and controls aligned to BT standards;
• Lead interactions with internal and external audit;
• Act as the primary finance contact for customers, managing open-book accounting and evidencing spend and billing;
• Lead pricing and financial evaluation of contract growth opportunities;
• Challenge commercial assumptions and ensure proposals meet required returns;
• Partner with sales and contract management teams to drive commercial performance and support strategic decision-making.

• Qualified or working towards CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or an equivalent qualification;
• Experience developing and maintaining strong relationships with internal customers and the wider finance team;
• Experience with accounting standards;
• Ability to explain the financial story simply to internal and external audiences;
• Ability to identify key trends and analyse information;
• Experience owning month-end deliverables end to end;
• Must be a UK national and undergo security clearance checks;
• Nice to have: experience working with internal and external audit, experience with Open Book reporting.
