• Lead the Finance Operational Controls team and partner with Food and FH&B Finance teams to drive improvements in operational controls, risk management, and control maturity;
• Act as the Group subject matter expert on UK Corporate Governance Code Provision 29 requirements and disclosures;
• Develop, maintain, and enhance the Group's Material Controls Framework;
• Build relationships with Finance Directors, Risk, and Internal Audit teams to provide insights and solutions for organizational resilience;
• Oversee assurance of material controls, including control declarations, testing, remediation programs, and annual effectiveness assessments;
• Maintain the Finance risk register and support enterprise risk management activities, including fraud risk mitigation.

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience in finance, risk, controls, assurance, or governance within a large and complex organization;
• Strong understanding of governance, risk management, internal controls, and assurance frameworks;
• Experience in people leadership, coaching, and developing team members;
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and present complex topics to executive or Board-level audiences;
• Commercial mindset with the ability to balance risk management with business objectives;
• Nice to have: Experience with Corporate Governance Code requirements.
