Finance Manager

Amazon MGM Studios expands theatrical distribution globally by building a finance organization to support international theatrical operations. The team focuses on establishing financial infrastructure and processes to manage film releases and marketing investments across various territories.

• Drive strategic financial planning and analysis for international marketing campaigns to ensure optimal ROI and budget allocation;
• Collaborate with territory leads and distribution teams to establish comprehensive budgets and forecasts for theatrical releases;
• Provide financial guidance to support business decisions and remove operational blockers;
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to align local strategies with global objectives;
• Own end-to-end financial reporting for the territory to deliver real-time business performance insights;
• Build and maintain sophisticated financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning;
• Develop complex ROI models and investment analysis frameworks to evaluate marketing campaign effectiveness;
• Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic recommendations based on market performance and competitive landscape;
• Ensure data integrity across financial systems and optimize reporting processes for scalability;
• Design and implement scalable financial processes for theatrical operations;
• Mentor local teams on financial processes and serve as the finance subject matter expert.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field;
• 8+ Years of experience in finance or a related analytical field with expertise in FP&A or strategic finance;
• Proven experience in solving complex business challenges through accurate financial modeling and analysis;
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation;
• Experience communicating results to senior leadership;
• Fluency in English and Spanish;
• Nice to have: MBA or CFA, experience with reporting and data visualization tools (Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI), experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos), experience with financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards), experience in international or multi-territory finance operations in entertainment, media, or content distribution.
