VMware ESXi / virtualization engineer

Andersen is hiring a VMware ESXi / Virtualization Engineer for a project modernizing industrial systems and ensuring reliable, scalable infrastructure for production environments. • Administering virtualization: VMware ESXi / vSphere / vCenter.
• Provisioning and maintaining virtual machines for engineering environments, including templates, access management, updates, and lifecycle operations.
• Handling basic virtual networking components and cooperating with network engineers on VLANs/port groups, and routing-related activities.
• Ensuring system stability and performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining technical documentation.
• Supporting and advising on VMware-to-Proxmox migration initiatives, including assessments, planning, and migration steps where required.

• Hands-on experience administering VMware ESXi/vSphere/vCenter for 3+ years.
• Experience provisioning virtual machines for engineering/project environments.
• Basic networking knowledge (L2/L3) sufficient for troubleshooting and configuration within virtualization scope.
• Understanding of operational requirements in industrial environments, including reliability, access control, and change management.
• Experience working in OT (Operational Technology) or Industrial IT environments.
• Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.
