• Architect and implement a cloud usage and cost attribution dashboard with detailed per-pod and per-service cost breakdowns using cloud billing APIs and internal FinOps hubs;
• Instrument end-to-end distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry, configure collectors in Kubernetes environments, and export traces to cloud monitoring systems using RED metrics;
• Write custom tooling for database performance monitoring, load testing, and trend analysis for critical storage layers;
• Build and deploy scalable production monitoring, custom alerting policies, and SLO tracking for containerized and serverless services;
• Independently manage, write, and apply infrastructure modifications using Terraform within enterprise repository standards, modules, and environment state management;
• Read, debug, and extend platform code in Kotlin, Java, and Python to integrate technical metrics without disrupting business logic;
• Implement unit testing with high code coverage for newly developed monitoring tools to meet enterprise quality gates and sign-offs.

• 4 To 6 years of professional software or DevOps engineering experience;
• 2 To 3 years of hands-on cloud infrastructure management in production;
• Deep operational proficiency with Google Cloud Platform, including workload-level alerting on Google Kubernetes Engine and Cloud Run;
• Proven experience building observability solutions in distributed systems with OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and profiling tools;
• Intermediate-to-advanced Python for custom test tooling, metrics integration scripts, and backend automation;
• Strong Terraform proficiency, including multi-environment setups, workspaces, and corporate module standards;
• Practical ability to read, understand, and modify backend codebases written in Kotlin and Java;
• High technical autonomy to resolve blockers independently;
• Ability to onboard rapidly into large unfamiliar codebases;
• Fluent written English for async alignment and pull requests;
• Ability to work in a highly regulated enterprise environment with strict peer reviews, robust documentation requirements, and formal deployment procedures;
• Nice to have: Experience in financial services, fintech, investment banking, or other highly regulated industries, knowledge of cloud messaging systems such as Cloud Pub/Sub, familiarity with distributed database architectures such as Google Cloud Bigtable, ability to read or debug Rust or C++.
