• Develop and execute action plans to achieve agreed goals and performance indicators;
• Recommend and promote improvements to DevOps practices, automation patterns, and tooling;
• Identify automation opportunities and drive implementation initiatives within the Platform Engineering team;
• Monitor and suggest improvements to the existing CI/CD process to increase speed, safety, and reliability;
• Coordinate implementation activities within the team and assist with cross-team collaboration when required;
• Develop, maintain, and enhance existing GitLab CI pipeline libraries;
• Assist developers with setting up CI/CD for their projects and provide support for arising issues;
• Stay up to date with the latest tools and trends and share relevant insights with the wider team;
• Ensure adherence to best practices across Windows, Linux, and Kubernetes environments;
• Support knowledge-sharing sessions and educate Application Development Teams on platform standards, tools, and best practices;
• Work closely with the Security team to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure platform compliance with security standards;
• Set personal targets for team members and monitor performance;
• Provide regular feedback, coaching, mentoring, and development support to team members;
• Encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team;
• Help maintain a motivated, engaged, and high-performing team environment.

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar discipline;
• 7+ Years’ experience in Cloud (AWS), Release Pipeline Management, Windows Server Administration, Linux Administration, Certificate Management, PowerShell scripting, Bash/Python scripting, Configuration Management and IaC (Ansible/Terraform), DNS, and Networking;
• Enterprise-level Kubernetes experience;
• Solid Linux administration skills;
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills;
• Commitment to continuous improvement, including observability, modern application architecture styles, blue-green/canary deployments, and CI/CD pipeline management;
• Ability to self-motivate, study, and stay current with emerging technologies and trends while meeting business deadlines;
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills;
• Strong attention to detail and cost awareness;
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments and deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines;
• Experience with Istio, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, MSK, and New Relic;
• Nice to have: familiarity with database concepts, working experience with at least one cloud provider preferably AWS, Apache Kafka configuration and troubleshooting, ELK configuration and troubleshooting, mentoring or coaching technical teams, scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go.
