platform engineer for reinsurance risk management

NTT DATA’s DevOps Competence Center is a distributed group of DevOps and Cloud engineers that delivers CI/CD, cloud-native engineering, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes platforms, and observability expertise across business units. Its client is a global reinsurance and risk management company providing insurance, underwriting, and data-driven risk assessment solutions.

• Automate cloud infrastructure deployment and management using Terraform and ARM templates;
• Develop PowerShell and YAML scripts for CI/CD pipelines and other automation tasks;
• Implement and manage Azure IaaS and PaaS services;
• Configure and manage Azure networking components, including Application Gateways and Azure Firewalls;
• Monitor and visualize infrastructure performance and efficiency using native Azure tools and third-party solutions;
• Implement OAuth2 and OpenID Connect with Azure Entra ID as the identity provider;
• Enforce and manage Azure Policies for cloud resource compliance and governance;
• Design and implement scalable, highly available solutions with redundancy features such as geo-redundancy;
• Apply basic SQL knowledge to manage and query databases during application deployments and operational support;
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve DevOps practices;
• Provide on-call availability if needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Informatics, a similar field, or equivalent working experience;
• At least 5 years of demonstrable experience in a DevOps Engineer role;
• Strong experience with Terraform, YAML, and PowerShell scripting;
• Proficiency with Azure infrastructure components, including IaaS and PaaS;
• Familiarity with distributed systems and Windows Server administration;
• Understanding of Azure Policies and redundancy scaling concepts;
• Experience with Azure networking components and API Management;
• Knowledge of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and Azure Entra Identity Provider;
• Basic SQL proficiency;
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including Scrum and Agile practices;
• Excellent spoken and written English;
• Nice to have: Azure and DevOps certifications, CI/CD tools and practices, containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• On-call availability may be required.
