platform engineer for high-load microservices

• Design, build, and maintain scalable microservices using Kubernetes and containerized workflows;
• Build secure and performant REST and gRPC APIs and manage integrations across distributed backend systems and external platforms;
• Implement authentication and authorization frameworks using OAuth2, JWT, and OIDC;
• Architect systems for high availability, performance, and fault tolerance using resilience patterns, database strategies, and scalability principles;
• Collaborate with data teams to connect backend services with data engineering workflows, pipelines, and distributed processing systems.

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience writing clean, production-ready, maintainable backend code;
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud-native tools for deploying and managing containerized applications at scale;
• In-depth understanding of distributed system architecture and database design and optimization across SQL and/or NoSQL platforms;
• Practical experience designing REST and gRPC APIs;
• Experience implementing OAuth2, OIDC, and JWT identity management standards;
• Understanding of fault-tolerance patterns, performance tuning, and backend integration with data engineering and pipeline workflows.

• Working hours require 3–4 hours of overlap with the PT zone;
