platform engineer for financial visualization

TradingView is a financial analysis and charting platform used by more than 100M users across 180+ countries. It provides tools for charting, market data, collaboration, publishing, and financial market trading.

• Design the architecture for a hybrid platform spanning On-Premises DC and AWS, and build abstractions for seamless application deployment across environments;
• Develop the Internal Developer Platform and unified developer portal using Backstage or a custom IDP;
• Unify provisioning, management, and operational workflows for Kubernetes clusters across AWS EKS and bare-metal environments;
• Write custom platform services, CLI tools, and Kubernetes operators in Go;
• Partner with network and bare-metal infrastructure engineers to integrate BGP, Linstor, and GlusterFS solutions into the unified platform layer;
• Define the overarching technical strategy;
• Mentor Senior and Lead engineers across teams.

• 5+ Years of experience in infrastructure and systems engineering, including 2+ years at a Staff, Principal, or Tech Lead level;
• Deep expertise in AWS, including EKS, VPC, Direct Connect, and IAM;
• Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or OpenTofu;
• Strong proficiency in Go for building platform automation tools, custom controllers, and operators;
• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes internal architecture, CRDs, and controller design patterns;
• Deep understanding of IDP concepts and Developer Experience standards, including GitOps, ArgoCD, Service Catalog, and DORA metrics;
• Practical understanding of hybrid network architectures and Zero Trust security principles;
• Nice to have: experience integrating KubeVirt, Cilium, or OpenTelemetry into platform solutions, background in FinOps and tracking infrastructure TCO.
