Castor is modernizing clinical research through a modular cloud platform that runs clinical trials end-to-end. Its products include Electronic Data Capture, eConsent, eCOA, and Castor Catalyst, an AI automation solution that reduces manual effort in research.

• Design and implement solutions that allow product teams to run containerized services seamlessly;
• Develop internal best practices, guidelines, and documentation for navigating cloud infrastructure;
• Write and maintain code for centrally managed services while improving security and reliability;
• Manage the centralized NATS messaging infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and performance;
• Provide support through a dedicated on-call rotation;
• Contribute to technical documentation and Architecture Decision Records.

• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language; Python or Go preferred;
• Solid experience deploying and optimizing solutions on Azure or GCP;
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform;
• Strong knowledge of the containerization ecosystem, such as Kubernetes, and related tooling;
• Understanding of Linux, networking, web applications, and database fundamentals;
• Familiarity with monitoring server and application performance;
• Troubleshooting skills for resolving issues in distributed environments;
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and message brokers;
• Comfortable taking ownership of critical infrastructure components;
• Preference for candidates based in CET+/-2;
• Candidates based in Spain, France, Belgium, Switzerland, and Germany are not accepted;
• Nice to have: Python or Go, experience with AI tooling and agents.
