Block Labs is a technology studio operating at the intersection of Web3, Artificial Intelligence, and iGaming. The company engineers high-scale, production-grade platforms for digital products, focusing on advanced system design and technical excellence.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS Glue (PySpark) or equivalent orchestration tools;
• Engineer and optimize the ClickHouse warehouse for sub-second query performance;
• Implement data contracts between back-office and the platform;
• Build the feature-serving layer providing pre-computed features to AI agents at millisecond latency;
• Integrate with third-party databases, back-office APIs, and external systems;
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and maintenance procedures including pipeline health checks, freshness monitoring, anomaly detection, and data contract SLA enforcement;
• Own CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code for data workloads;
• Collaborate with data scientists, agent engineers, BI developers, and infrastructure teams to translate data requirements into production-grade pipelines.

• 3+ Years of experience building and operating production data pipelines at scale, covering both streaming and batch paradigms;
• Expertise in Apache Kafka or Amazon MSK, including topic design, consumer group management, and production troubleshooting;
• Strong SQL and warehouse engineering skills with columnar analytical databases like ClickHouse, Druid, BigQuery, or Redshift;
• Proficiency in PySpark and Spark Streaming for transformation jobs;
• Data modelling discipline with experience in designing multi-tenant schemas and schema governance;
• Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK), and containerized workloads;
• Data quality and observability mindset with experience in pipeline health monitoring and automated data validation;
• Nice to have: Experience in iGaming, blockchain or crypto-native transaction flows, AWS-native environment, feature store experience (SageMaker, Feast, or Tecton), work in regulated industries, and migrating legacy query engines.
