hardware engineer for high-load infrastructure

• Perform firmware updates and lifecycle management for server hardware
• Troubleshoot hardware and infrastructure-related issues, including servers, components, and connectivity
• Support provisioning and decommissioning of bare metal servers
• Work with out-of-band management interfaces such as IPMI, iDRAC, and iLO
• Apply and maintain hardware configuration standards and profiles
• Participate in incident response and root cause analysis
• Contribute to operational processes and documentation, including SOPs
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and DevOps teams
• Participate in evaluating and selecting hardware configurations, including CPU, RAM, storage, and components
• Contribute to infrastructure scaling and hardware standardization
• Participate in on-call rotations

• Hands-on experience with server hardware in production environments
• Understanding of data center infrastructure fundamentals
• Experience with hardware lifecycle management, including firmware, components, and replacements
• Familiarity with out-of-band management tools such as IPMI, iDRAC, and iLO
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience writing technical documentation or operational procedures
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
• Understanding of server hardware configurations and component selection
• Experience or interest in contributing to infrastructure design and scaling decisions
• Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (L2/L3)
