Toll Collect GmbH operates a central data service called the Stellplatz-Informationsdienst that captures, continuously updates, and publicly provides the occupancy of parking facilities along federal highways in near real-time.

• Operate and further develop production-critical services for processing large mobility data streams, from APIs and data pipelines to backend components and operational tools;
• Solve operational problems sustainably by analyzing root causes directly in the code, automating processes, and continuously improving system architecture;
• Develop, document, and implement concrete technical solutions, detailed specifications, and interface designs for mass mobility data processing as applications, databases, or software artifacts;
• Ensure quality consistently using a shift-left approach, develop and maintain test automation, and check updates for compatibility before they go live;
• Participate in product development by evaluating user stories according to relevance, time, risk, and complexity, and continuously advance the Git pipeline.

• Bring solid experience in IT operations, with familiarity in Linux, shell scripting (Bash), JSON, and CI/CD processes, as well as confident use of Python;
• Hold a completed degree in computer science or related fields;
• Work with agile environments, using Jira, Confluence, and Miro without hurdles, and treat the DevOps philosophy, including transparent error communication and post-mortems, as lived practice;
• Nice to have: Experience with GitLab, OpenShift, Kafka, and monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
