devops engineer for an EdTech platform

• Maintain and optimize infrastructure on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and other platforms;
• Automate provisioning using Terraform and Ansible;
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, and Nagios;
• Ensure high reliability and performance across environments;
• Build Kubernetes applications using Helm or Kustomize;
• Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines;
• Deploy containerized and VM workloads;
• Integrate security into CI/CD and infrastructure;
• Manage vulnerabilities using OWASP, SonarQube, and automated scanners;
• Lead incident response and maintain disaster recovery plans;
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and GDPR;
• Apply security best practices across all stages of development and deployment;
• Work closely with development and operations teams;
• Mentor DevOps Engineers and contribute to continuous improvement;
• Assist in generating new business and revenue streams and client innovation;
• Optimize cloud usage and manage software and infrastructure licenses;
• Track and tag resources to ensure cost-effective scaling;
• Maintain infrastructure and process documentation;
• Evaluate and implement new tools and frameworks.

• 5+ Years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation;
• 3+ Years of experience building and deploying Kubernetes applications with Helm or Kustomize;
• Skilled in Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and Ansible;
• 5+ Years of experience deploying to the cloud, including AWS, OCI, GCP, Azure, or on-premises environments;
• Programming experience with Python, Java, JavaScript, Golang, or similar languages;
• Nice to have: Experience with Spring Boot / Java, familiarity with GitOps workflows, experience with Nagios, Jenkins, Grafana, Prometheus, and HashiCorp Vault, cloud platform administration or infrastructure management experience, knowledge of OCI, AWS, and other clouds.
