DevOps Engineer

EPAM develops enterprise software products, open source solutions, and accelerators.

• Collaborate with the software development team to ensure software and systems interoperability;
• Develop a team of DevOps engineers, foster their professional growth, and ensure they have the resources to excel;
• Design and implement reliable cloud solutions and service-oriented architectures;
• Enhance CI/CD processes for applications and infrastructure using Jenkins, GitLab, or equivalent tools;
• Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to track system health and security;
• Ensure systems' availability, performance, scalability, and security meet required standards;
• Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management;
• Drive improvements in the operations environment and performance across CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and cloud computing;
• Automate workflows and maximize the operational efficiency of the software engineering team;
• Shape the future of the DevOps practice and promote a culture of collaboration.

• Understanding of networking and security architectures;
• 5+ Years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet, containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and scripting languages such as Python and Shell;
• Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, Graylog, New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, Zabbix, or similar;
• Proven experience leading and motivating a DevOps team in a collaborative, high-performing environment;
• Passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying bottlenecks and developing creative automation solutions;
• Excellent communication skills for clearly explaining complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• English level of B2 and higher.
