DevOps Engineer

EPAM develops enterprise software products, open source solutions, and software accelerators.

• Drive the team in improving the operations environment and performance, including CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and cloud computing;
• Apply innovative problem-solving to automate workflows and maximize the operational efficiency of the software engineering team;
• Shape the future of the DevOps practice and promote a culture of collaboration;
• Implement innovative solutions to optimize the software development lifecycle;
• Collaborate with the software development team to ensure software and systems interoperability;
• Develop a team of DevOps engineers, foster their professional growth, and ensure they have the resources to excel;
• Design and implement reliable cloud solutions and service-oriented architectures;
• Enhance CI/CD processes for applications and infrastructure using Jenkins, GitLab, or an equivalent;
• Maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions to track system health and security;
• Ensure systems' availability, performance, scalability, and security meet standards;
• Implement industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management.

• Extensive experience in cloud computing, scripting, and CI/CD principles;
• Understanding of networking and security architectures;
• 5+ Years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, configuration management tools, containerization technologies, and scripting languages;
• Hands-on experience with logging and monitoring tools;
• Proven experience leading and motivating a DevOps team and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment;
• Passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for identifying bottlenecks and developing creative solutions to automate workflows and optimize efficiency;
• Excellent communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• English level of B2 and higher.
