DevOps Engineer

The client is a large Singapore-based company providing engineering and technology solutions, focusing on building, maintaining, and supporting systems to help industries and organizations run smoothly.

• Manage and support platform services leveraging GitOps principles and best practices;
• Design, build, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to streamline application and infrastructure deployments;
• Develop automation solutions using scripting languages and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks;
• Monitor platform performance, investigate system issues, and conduct root cause analysis to ensure service reliability;
• Partner with development teams to optimize software delivery, deployment, and operational efficiency;
• Oversee application deployments across development, testing, staging, and production environments;
• Administer and support containerized applications and orchestration platforms;
• Implement and maintain observability capabilities, including monitoring, logging, metrics, and distributed tracing;
• Participate in incident management, problem resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality;
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and configuration management standards across the platform;
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and support runbooks.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes administration, configuration, and application deployments;
• Experience working with containerization technologies, including Docker and OCI-compliant containers;
• Strong experience supporting and administering Linux-based environments;
• Nice to have: exposure to GitOps methodologies and tools such as Argo CD or Flux, familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible, knowledge of observability and monitoring solutions including Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry, experience managing artifact repositories such as Nexus or JFrog Artifactory, good understanding of platform security, secrets management, vulnerability management, and security best practices, familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other modern software development methodologies.
