DevOps Engineer

EPAM develops enterprise software products, open source solutions, and accelerators.

• Develop, manage, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, and other relevant tools;
• Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform;
• Configure and manage AWS services;
• Collaborate with the development team to deploy microservices onto Kubernetes/EKS using GitLab CI/CD;
• Lead the migration of Jenkins pipelines to GitLab;
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues;
• Stay updated on DevOps and Cloud best practices and emerging technologies;
• Ensure code remains up-to-date, maintainable, scalable, and secure;
• Monitor and improve system health and performance to maximize uptime and end-user satisfaction;
• Develop, test, and maintain the toolchain and pipeline enabling continuous integration and deployment;
• Coordinate with software developers, operations teams, and other cross-functional teams to understand project objectives, gather requirements, and deliver systems and software within agreed timelines.

• 5+ Years of experience in a DevOps or related engineering role;
• Proficiency in GitLab, Terraform, and Jenkins;
• Expertise in AWS, EKS, and Ansible;
• Experience with Jenkins-to-GitLab migration;
• Strong scripting skills with Shell, Python, or Ansible playbooks for automation;
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes;
• Understanding of infrastructure security best practices;
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills;
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
