DevOps Engineer

The client is a Dutch-founded global leader in information services for health, tax and accounting, risk and compliance, finance, and legal sectors, operating in over 150 countries.

• Identify and resolve operational issues in line with agreed standards, leveraging AI-driven improvements;
• Support DNS and WAF areas by working with the client to review and adjust Cloudflare configurations, DNS records, WAF rules, and related security or traffic management settings;
• Work with modern DevOps and CI/CD tools including Jira, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Octopus Deploy, and GitHub Enterprise, and leverage AI assistants like GitHub Copilot and Claude;
• Operate with an AI-as-DNA mindset, integrating AI into daily workflows and driving automation across network operations and infrastructure management;
• Own network infrastructure lifecycle activities encompassing design, implementation, monitoring, optimization, reporting, and documentation.

• Extensive experience in DevOps engineering;
• Strong proficiency in Terraform and cloud platforms including Azure and AWS;
• Hands-on experience with Azure CSP and Azure DevOps;
• Strong DNS and networking fundamentals;
• Automation and scripting expertise in Python, Bash, and PowerShell;
• Proven CI/CD pipeline ownership;
• Comfort in multi-cloud, WAF, and edge environments;
• Experience with Cloudflare or external DNS providers, policy-as-code or governance frameworks, and multi-provider resilience patterns;
• Exposure to observability and identity-driven or zero trust concepts;
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and a proactive mindset toward adopting AI;
• Demonstrated technical leadership capabilities;
• Strong aptitude for technology and problem-solving;
• Availability to work until 6 PM CET, with occasional extended overlap with US EST working hours;
• Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate English proficiency;
• Nice to have: Cloud Networking and Core Networking experience, experience with POC Network designs.
