DevOps Engineer

Paychex provides digital HR technology and advisory solutions, simplifying payroll and benefits for businesses.

• Mentor and model best practices for less experienced engineers;
• Build and maintain zero-touch pipelines from feature branch to production;
• Lead the integration of AI-enhanced workflows including LLMs, GPT, Claude, AI test bots, and observability assistants;
• Own CI/CD orchestration using LaunchDarkly, CircleCI, and SAM;
• Automate deployments across AWS infrastructure using Terraform, CircleCI, and GitHub Actions;
• Integrate advanced observability using DataDog;
• Implement enterprise-safe, open-source CI/CD tools for scalability and compliance;
• Support self-healing environments and ephemeral test environments at scale.

• Expert-level experience with CI/CD design, automation, and pipeline architecture;
• Proven success implementing AI-integrated DevOps workflows;
• Track record of delivering self-healing, zero-downtime platforms;
• Familiarity with enterprise-safe open-source tooling;
