DevOps Engineer

Sentryk AI LTD is an Abu Dhabi-based cybersecurity startup that develops vx0, an AI-native application security platform. The product unifies SAST, SCA, secret detection, IaC scanning, and DAST behind an AI triage layer to reduce false positives. It is delivered as a managed cloud offering and as a self-hosted solution for enterprise and air-gapped environments.

• Own and manage the self-hosted GitLab instance, including runners, CI images, pipeline templates, and tag-driven deployments;
• Operate the internal supply chain, including Harbor container registry and private package registries for Go, npm, Rust, and Python;
• Manage HashiCorp Vault, including policies, secret rotation, PKI, and break-glass procedures;
• Extend policy-as-code across the stack using Kyverno, OPA/Conftest, and Checkov;
• Drive SOC 2 and ISO 27001:2022 readiness by automating evidence collection and device posture via Fleet MDM;
• Maintain zero-trust network security, including Tailscale ACLs and Cloudflare Tunnel exposure patterns;
• Build out and scale production environments using Terraform;
• Execute disaster recovery procedures, including Velero backups and restore drills;
• Support the distribution of vx0 for enterprise and air-gapped environments via Helm and Terraform;
• Ensure platform health through upgrades, monitoring, and capacity planning.

• 5+ Years of experience in DevOps, platform, or infrastructure engineering with production ownership;
• Strong Kubernetes experience, including deploying, upgrading, and debugging clusters;
• Solid experience with Terraform and configuration management (Ansible);
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitLab;
• Hands-on experience with secrets management (Vault) and TLS/PKI;
• Strong networking fundamentals, including DNS, cloud networking, and VPN/mesh networks;
• Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting;
• Security-first mindset and experience with technical documentation (runbooks, ADRs);
• Must be based in Serbia and able to work UAE hours;
• Nice to have: Azure (AKS, Entra ID, workload identity), Tailscale or WireGuard-based networking at scale, Policy-as-code (Kyverno, OPA/Rego, Checkov), SOC 2 or ISO 27001 experience (Drata or Vanta), experience self-hosting platform services (GitLab, Harbor), osquery/Fleet or other MDM tooling.
