DevOps Engineer

Tieto is a Nordic technology company that provides digital services and software solutions to businesses and societies. The team supports a multinational telecommunications client by managing the deployment and operation of network infrastructure and digital service products.

• Perform all phases of DevOps, from service development to production deployment;
• Execute daily operations tasks;
• Provide efficient support to end users;
• Maintain documentation and operational procedures;
• Handle customer tickets and requests.

• Experience with Linux/Unix server support and configuration;
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Bash;
• Experience with autoconfiguration systems like Ansible or Puppet;
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability principles using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Kibana;
• Experience with version control and CI tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and GitLab;
• Knowledge of REST API usage;
• Understanding of CI/CD and product life-cycle principles;
• Basic knowledge of databases and project handling tools like Jira, Confluence, and Artifactory;
• Strong troubleshooting and information retrieval skills;
• Knowledge of source code management and Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban);
• Understanding of AI best practices;
• Ability to work on-call and during weekends on demand once every two months;
• Fluent English for user support;
• Nice to have: Understanding of networking and system administration principles, knowledge of Java, experience with Docker and Kubernetes, experience with Cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
