DevOps Engineer

Data Science UA is a service company specializing in AI and Data Science. Since its inception in 2016, the organization has established one of the largest AI communities in Europe.

• Own the Terraform/Bicep codebase for all Azure resources including AKS, Azure OpenAI, APIM, and Azure ML;
• Enforce IaC-only provisioning with drift detection and automated remediation;
• Design and operate Azure Landing Zone patterns;
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for AI platform components;
• Implement pipeline stages including linting, testing, vulnerability scanning, and auto-rollback;
• Manage AKS clusters, including node pool lifecycle, upgrades, and certificate rotation;
• Configure Kubernetes networking, storage, and RBAC;
• Operate the container registry and implement GitOps deployment patterns;
• Build and operate model deployment pipelines and manage Azure ML workspaces;
• Manage Azure Key Vault, Managed Identities, and Entra ID security configurations;
• Design the observability stack using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and OpenTelemetry;
• Define and own SLOs for platform services and lead incident response;
• Build Azure Cost Management dashboards and enforce resource tagging.

• 4+ Years of DevOps or platform engineering experience in cloud-native environments;
• Expertise in Azure (AKS, Azure Monitor, Networking, Key Vault, Entra ID) and at least one AI/ML service;
• Proficiency in Terraform or Bicep with production codebase experience;
• Experience with multi-stage GitHub Actions pipelines and secrets management;
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes operations and container lifecycle management;
• Understanding of cloud security fundamentals including IAM and network segmentation;
• Strong incident response and debugging skills for distributed systems;
• English for work and correspondence;
• Nice to have: MLOps or LLMOps experience, GitOps in AKS, FinOps knowledge, Azure Policy and Landing Zone patterns, Python or Bash scripting, familiarity with AI developer tools, Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, AZ-305).
