DevOps Engineer

• Support and improve hybrid production infrastructure environments for over 15 development teams managing 100+ products and 10K+ domains;
• Assist developers in solving complex technical problems across multiple stacks and environments;
• Architect and plan improvements for a multi-datacenter development environment;
• Participate in design decisions, including new technology research and prototyping;
• Advocate and assist development teams in migrating services to automated and elastic infrastructures using Cloud, Kubernetes, and Serverless technologies;
• Document processes and monitor performance metrics for all environments and services;
• Promote and implement CI/CD strategies and practices;
• Develop and improve critical cloud-based shared services;
• Support and augment Infrastructure as Code (IaC) coverage;
• Mentor junior DevOps team members.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role;
• Experience as a DevOps or Systems Administrator in Linux environments;
• Understanding of scalability patterns for high-traffic infrastructure architecture;
• Knowledge of major Cloud providers with hands-on experience in at least one;
• Familiarity with provisioning servers and virtual machines using VMWare or equivalent;
• Ability to debug intricate issues and work with command line, scripting, and configuration of web servers and load balancers;
• Experience managing highly available DB clusters and cache systems;
• Understanding of networking and infrastructure in web hosting environments (DNS, HTTPS, WAF);
• Ability to code and debug, preferably in Python;
• Understanding of CI/CD models and best practices;
• Experience with Kubernetes;
• Familiarity with configuration management or orchestration tools like Ansible;
• Knowledge of monitoring processes and tools;
• Self-sufficient with excellent communication and time management skills;
• Nice to have: Advanced experience with ElasticSearch, advanced experience with Percona Server for MySQL, experience managing Gitlab server instances, experience deploying applications on Kubernetes on all major cloud providers, professional context switching, commandlinefu, natural leadership.
