Referment is partnering with a quantitative investment firm where infrastructure is treated as a competitive advantage. The firm operates technology-driven investment infrastructure across cloud and on-premise environments.

• Design and improve cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure;
• Build secure, resilient and scalable platforms for production workloads;
• Work on cloud networking, including routing, connectivity, DNS and hybrid infrastructure;
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting;
• Drive improvements in monitoring, observability and incident response;
• Own infrastructure lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching and resilience;
• Collaborate with networking, security and development teams to deliver practical engineering solutions;
• Evaluate new technologies and help shape the platform’s future technical direction.

• Several years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering;
• Strong Linux systems administration experience;
• Good knowledge of AWS and/or Azure;
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible or similar tools;
• Solid networking fundamentals;
• Experience supporting production infrastructure;
• Python or other scripting experience;
• A practical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving;
• A genuine can-do mentality and curiosity about new technologies;
• Ownership mindset and ability to work across multiple infrastructure areas;
• Collaborative problem-solving approach;
• Interest in understanding how the business works rather than only maintaining systems;
• Nice to have: Experience within financial services.
