Referment is partnering with a highly regarded quantitative investment firm whose infrastructure is treated as a competitive advantage and supports cloud, platform, and production engineering.

• Design, build, and operate hybrid infrastructure spanning AWS, Azure, and on-premise environments;
• Design and improve cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure;
• Build secure, resilient, and scalable platforms for production workloads;
• Develop cloud networking across routing, connectivity, DNS, and hybrid infrastructure;
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code and scripting;
• Drive improvements in monitoring, observability, and incident response;
• Own infrastructure lifecycle management, including upgrades, patching, and resilience;
• Collaborate with networking, security, and development teams to deliver practical engineering solutions;
• Evaluate new technologies and help shape the future technical direction of the platform.

• Several years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering;
• Strong Linux systems administration experience;
• Good knowledge of AWS and/or Azure;
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools;
• Solid networking fundamentals;
• Experience supporting production infrastructure;
• Python or other scripting experience;
• A practical approach to troubleshooting and problem solving;
• A can-do mentality, curiosity, and willingness to learn new technologies;
• Ability to take ownership and work across multiple infrastructure areas;
• Collaborative approach to problem solving;
• Interest in understanding how the business works rather than simply maintaining systems;
• Nice to have: experience within financial services.
