• Manage, monitor, support, and continuously improve production and non-production cloud environments;
• Take ownership of cloud operations across Google Cloud Platform while supporting Azure services and broader multi-cloud initiatives;
• Design, build, and implement secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions aligned with business needs;
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code frameworks and cloud automation capabilities;
• Deliver operational excellence through monitoring, performance tuning, capacity planning, and proactive issue prevention;
• Provide third-line technical support and own complex incidents and problems through to resolution;
• Maintain cloud backup, recovery, and business continuity capabilities, including participation in recovery testing exercises;
• Support cloud migration projects, platform modernisation initiatives, and cloud transformation programmes;
• Collaborate with development and application teams to improve deployment processes, CI/CD integrations, and operational readiness;
• Contribute to container and Kubernetes environments, helping optimise platform reliability and scalability;
• Ensure cloud environments remain secure, compliant, and aligned with best practices;
• Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation, standards, operational procedures, and architectural diagrams;
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver a resilient and innovative cloud platform.

• Extensive experience managing and supporting cloud environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform;
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Azure and multi-cloud environments;
• Strong experience administering cloud-native compute, networking, storage, monitoring, identity, and database services;
• Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code, ideally using Terraform;
• Experience automating operational processes with PowerShell, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages;
• Experience supporting cloud migrations, infrastructure modernisation, and hybrid environments;
• Understanding of cloud security principles, monitoring, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and business continuity requirements;
• Strong troubleshooting and third-line support experience;
• Ability to take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and respond effectively during critical incidents;
• Strong technical expertise, communication, and stakeholder management skills;
• Nice to have: Experience with Kubernetes, containerised workloads, GKE, and AKS.
