Azure cloud engineer

At Planck Technologies, we are recruiting an Azure Cloud Engineer to join a project in Lisbon, focused on managing and evolving cloud infrastructures, containerized platforms, and automating DevOps processes.

• Implement, configure, and administer Microsoft Azure environments
• Manage and maintain containerized platforms, with a focus on Docker and Kubernetes/AKS
• Design and maintain cloud infrastructures, networks, and security components
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions
• Monitor platform performance and availability, identifying and resolving incidents
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, containers, connectivity, and deployments
• Manage identities, permissions, secrets, and certificates, following security best practices
• Ensure the observability, scalability, stability, and security of environments
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of infrastructure automation and operations processes

• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud and Infrastructure
• At least 2 years of practical experience with Microsoft Azure
• Practical experience with Docker and containers
• Experience with Kubernetes, preferably administering and troubleshooting Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Experience with Azure services, namely Virtual Machines, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, Load Balancers, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault
• Knowledge of Azure Container Registry (ACR), Azure Container Apps, Dockerfiles, volumes, and networking
• Knowledge of networks, including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, routing, and firewalls
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and YAML pipelines
• Knowledge of monitoring with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, metrics, logs, and alerts
• Knowledge of security, including Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, secrets management, certificates, and container security
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems, ensuring the availability, security, and scalability of platforms
