AI platform engineer for software development

At Planck Technologies, we are recruiting a Senior AI Platform Engineer to develop and scale an Artificial Intelligence-driven engineering platform, with the goal of increasing developer productivity and optimizing the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from requirements definition and solution design to implementation, testing, and production. We are looking for a senior profile with hands-on experience building and implementing AI Agents in production environments, solid knowledge of Platform Engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD, and the ability to develop autonomous workflows, integrate AI tools, and improve engineering team efficiency.

• Design and develop agentic workflows, tools, and automation solutions across the entire SDLC.
• Develop and integrate AI Agents, including orchestration mechanisms, tool use, MCP servers, and context management.
• Implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and quality control mechanisms to ensure reliable agent results.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and internal developer tools.
• Integrate AI-powered workflows with enterprise systems, including Jira, version control systems, and CI/CD platforms.
• Improve engineering team efficiency, process reliability, and the developer experience.
• Evaluate different technical approaches, select appropriate solutions, and independently lead their implementation.
• Contribute to the evolution and scalability of the Artificial Intelligence-based engineering platform.

• More than 8 years of experience in Software Engineering, including senior-level or technical leadership responsibilities.
• Proven experience building and implementing AI Agents in production environments, beyond proofs of concept or theoretical knowledge.
• Experience with agent orchestration, tool use, MCP servers, and context engineering.
• Solid knowledge of Platform Engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure, preferably GCP, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience developing Internal Developer Platforms, CLIs, or Workflow Engines.
• Solid knowledge of the software development life cycle, from requirements through production, and of productivity practices for engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with AI-based development tools and agentic coding in daily work.
• Ability to solve complex problems, make technical decisions, and take responsibility for implementing solutions with a high degree of autonomy.
• English C1 or higher.
