VP of Engineering for autonomous Voice AI

Mad Devs is developing an autonomous Voice AI platform for AI employees.

• Grow the engineering team from 45 to more than 100 engineers;
• Hire, coach, and develop the engineering management layer;
• Structure the organization and architect the platform for hypergrowth;
• Establish a predictable SDLC;
• Partner with Product Management to deliver the most impactful business outcomes in priority order;
• Set quality standards and SLAs;
• Scale production capacity so it never bottlenecks growth;
• Own FinOps and vendor management;
• Refine career ladders and the hiring process.

• 10+ Years of engineering management experience;
• Experience leading teams of 30+;
• Experience with high-scale software development and operations;
• Experience leading engineering teams on customer-facing SaaS;
• Strong knowledge of agentic systems;
• Strong software architecture skills;
• English and Russian at B2+ with excellent spoken and written communication;
• Startup experience;
• Location in Eastern Europe or Armenia;
• Nice to have: experience scaling an engineering organization from approximately 40 to 150 people as a VP of Engineering or CTO, background in AI/ML, voice, or real-time systems, experience building high-scale software in a public cloud, experience with zero-to-one organization building and rapid decision-making.
