• Accelerate distributed systems like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Ray;
• Build native Rust-based execution engines;
• Perform deep performance tuning, including SIMD, cache locality, and zero-copy IO;
• Own complex performance-critical components end-to-end;
• Navigate hardware/software boundaries, memory management, I/O tuning, and concurrency;
• Dive into unfamiliar codebases and optimize them quickly.

• Have 5+ years of relevant experience in systems programming;
• Have expertise in Rust;
• Understand computer architecture, operating systems, and networking fundamentals;
• Have experience in low-level system architecture;
• Have experience with multi-threading, memory layout optimization, or custom allocators;
• Take full ownership of complex challenges from inception to delivery;
• Work with minimal abstraction layers in high-performance environments;
• Have a strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset;
• Fluent spoken English (C1);
• Nice to have: a proven track record in systems programming in Rust, low-level performance optimization, building high-performance infrastructure and distributed systems.
