• Lead the design and development of secure, scalable backend systems and infrastructure using AWS services;
• Architect and optimize ETL workflows for efficient ingestion, transformation, and storage of large datasets;
• Own end-to-end technical delivery including system design, implementation, integration, code reviews, and performance tuning;
• Collaborate with architects and domain experts to define backend and infrastructure architecture;
• Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using CDK, ensuring security, scalability, and cost efficiency;
• Build robust monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems;
• Work with analytics and product teams to transform business requirements into actionable backend and data solutions;
• Drive best practices in code quality, CI/CD automation, containerization, and documentation;
• Solve complex technical challenges with structured thinking and a data-driven approach;
• Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and contribute to engineering excellence across teams;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Agile/Scrum workflows.

• Proven experience designing and implementing secure, scalable backend architectures using AWS services;
• Strong proficiency in Python development and object-oriented design principles;
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as AWS CDK or Terraform;
• Deep understanding of Docker, containerized development, and microservice deployment patterns;
• Expertise in building REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures;
• Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, schema design, and query optimization;
• Experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines, data modeling, and implementing data quality frameworks;
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Argo Workflows;
• Strong capability in CI/CD automation, GitLab, testing frameworks, and enforcing code quality standards;
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions;
• Collaborative experience working with cross-functional teams;
• English B2 Upper Intermediate;
• Nice to have: EKS, Kubernetes, OpenSearch, Athena, Redshift, Snowflake, data warehouses, Parquet, Grafana, Tableau.
