• Take ownership of core components of the AI architecture;
• Design and develop scalable AI agent systems including multi-step reasoning, decision pipelines, and tool use;
• Ensure reliability and quality of AI outputs through evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails;
• Advance LLM systems including prompting, fine-tuning, tooling, memory, and orchestration;
• Build observability and evaluation frameworks such as regression tests for AI;
• Collaborate with business and product teams to deliver impact on processes and revenue;
• Make technical decisions regarding architecture, stack, and scaling with long-term impact.

• 6–8+ Years of experience in software engineering, ideally in an AI/LLM environment;
• Strong system-oriented mindset;
• Advanced Python skills, specifically with Django or comparable frameworks;
• Experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Claude;
• Proficiency in AI system design, evaluation methods, and observability;
• Ability to make trade-offs between speed and quality for AI reliability;
• High level of autonomy and a focus on shipping products;
• Nice to have: Experience with AI/LLM environment.
