• Design, optimize, and maintain high-performance microservices and event-driven architectures on AWS Lambda;
• Provision, modularize, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Terraform across development, staging, and production;
• Design, optimize, and maintain automated Jenkins deployment pipelines with testing, security scanning, blue/green or canary deployments, and zero-downtime releases;
• Design scalable, low-latency data access patterns in Amazon DynamoDB using Single-Table Design, GSIs/LSIs, and stream-based processing;
• Evaluate code bottlenecks and pipeline friction points;
• Challenge established paradigms with data-driven arguments;
• Propose architectural improvements.

• 8+ Years of senior software and DevOps engineering experience with Python as the primary backend language;
• Autonomous ownership of technical solutions and deployment improvements;
• Ability to propose multiple solutions with trade-offs for system and deployment bottlenecks;
• Deep experience managing multi-region AWS environments with reusable Terraform modules, remote state management, and infrastructure automation best practices;
• Hands-on experience writing complex Jenkinsfiles, shared libraries, and automated build, test, and deployment cycles for serverless architectures;
• Production expertise with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, and EventBridge in high-volume environments;
• Proven experience optimizing Python application performance, including asyncio, profiling, memory allocation reduction, and Lambda cold-start mitigation;
• Advanced knowledge of DynamoDB design, including Single-Table Design, GSI/LSI optimization, TTL, DynamoDB Streams, and capacity management;
• Experience with CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, Datadog, or OpenTelemetry for profiling, debugging, and monitoring distributed systems and deployments;
• Nice to have: Running Jenkins controllers on AWS, alternative runtime acceleration, serverless integration testing frameworks, AWS Kinesis, Apache Kafka.

• 3-Month contract starting 1st September 2026, with a good chance of extension.
