• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Python;
• Build and integrate AI-powered features, applications, and workflows into production systems;
• Use modern AI development tools to improve productivity and accelerate software delivery;
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to define solutions and implement new features;
• Contribute to system architecture, technical decisions, and best practices for scalable software development;
• Support cloud infrastructure, deployments, and DevOps processes to ensure reliable production environments;
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives;
• Contribute to frontend development using React when needed.

• Senior-level experience in backend software development with Python;
• Strong experience building and maintaining production-grade applications and APIs;
• Experience developing AI-powered products, integrations, or features;
• Familiarity with LLMs, AI APIs, automation workflows, or AI development frameworks;
• Experience with React or modern frontend technologies;
• Understanding of DevOps practices, cloud environments, and deployment processes;
• High proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and similar AI tooling;
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment;
• Nice to have: Experience working in startup or high-growth technology environments, experience building AI-first applications or integrating emerging technologies into products, familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, experience with modern databases, distributed systems, and scalable architectures.

• Contract length: Expected 6+ month engagement with potential for extension;
