Data Engineer for AI/ML on Azure

The data engineering team supports modern data and AI initiatives.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data engineering solutions
• Develop and manage data workflows using Python and Azure Data Factory
• Build and support modern data solutions with Microsoft Fabric
• Use Azure Machine Learning and related technologies to support AI/ML initiatives
• Prepare, transform, integrate, and optimize data for analytics, machine learning, and AI use cases
• Collaborate directly with clients to understand requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions
• Communicate technical concepts, architecture decisions, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver data and AI solutions
• Identify opportunities to improve data pipelines, processes, and AI/ML workflows

• Strong professional experience in data engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with Python
• Experience with Azure Data Factory
• Experience with Azure Machine Learning or similar Azure AI/ML services
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric
• Solid understanding of data pipelines, data transformation, and modern data architectures
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and workflows
• Experience working directly with clients or other external stakeholders
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Strong client-facing presence and ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly
• An AI-forward mindset and genuine interest in applying emerging AI technologies to data engineering problems
