Python Developer

eCarsTrade is a digital car marketplace serving professional buyers in more than 40 countries. The company operates an online auction platform offering over 15,000 vehicles per week, sourced from fleet owners, leasing and rental companies, banks, and dealerships.

• Develop and maintain FastAPI services including API routers, Pydantic schemas, middleware, and exception handling;
• Manage RabbitMQ consumers using aio_pika, topic exchanges, durable queues, DLQ, and circuit breakers;
• Design durable, decoupled processing flows such as ack-on-aggregation, MongoDB-backed per-car state, and thread-pooled blocking work under async consumers;
• Write tests and maintain Docker/docker-compose setups to ensure production reliability and observability;
• Collaborate with purchasing and platform teams to translate business rules into robust code;
• Drive technical initiatives and lead by example.

• Strong Python 3.10+ with production experience in async programming and FastAPI;
• Solid experience with message queues, ideally RabbitMQ, and event-driven architectures;
• Comfortable with Docker and microservice deployment patterns;
• Working knowledge of MySQL and/or MongoDB;
• Clean code, testing discipline, and Git-based collaboration;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions;
• Experience with CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI;
• Proficiency in English and Russian;
• Nice to have: Computer vision experience (OpenCV, CLIP, image hashing, OCR), LLM integration experience (Anthropic/OpenAI/Ollama), prompt engineering, cascade/multi-model orchestration, MLflow, Optuna, SHAP, experiment-tracking workflows, httpx, uvicorn, Pydantic v2, automotive/pricing/marketplace domain knowledge.
