JTL-Software-GmbH provides e-commerce software solutions in German-speaking regions. The company develops a warehouse management system (WMS) that supports customers in processing thousands of daily orders, including goods receipt, picking, and shipping. The current focus involves modernizing the WMS architecture by decoupling it from the ERP system, implementing modern APIs, and integrating new cloud services.
задачи
- Design the step-by-step modernization of the WMS monolith and make sustainable technology decisions;
- Decouple the WMS from the ERP system and define communication interfaces;
- Develop the API layer and hub applications to integrate cloud functionality;
- Develop, operate, and maintain services and the WMS application across backend and frontend;
- Share knowledge within the team and shape technical standards.
требования
- Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer with responsibility for architecture and technology decisions;
- Very good knowledge of C# and the .NET ecosystem (.NET 10+);
- Experience in modernizing legacy software landscapes through modularization, API-based integration, and migration;
- Solid knowledge of API development (REST, GraphQL) and Microsoft SQL Server;
- High quality standards with a focus on automated testing and the "you build it, you run it" approach;
- Experience with AI-assisted software development or willingness to use AI tools in daily work;
- Good command of English (written and spoken);
- Nice to have: React, TypeScript, WPF, messaging systems (Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka), cloud and DevOps (Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD), observability (monitoring, logging, tracing), domain knowledge in e-commerce or warehouse logistics.
