HelloTech serves as the global technology backbone for HelloFresh, developing digital products that power an end-to-end food experience ranging from meal kits to ready-to-eat meals. The organization operates through autonomous, cross-functional alliances to build scalable, data-driven platforms that support subscription-based, direct-to-consumer models across global markets.

• Build and operate ML systems including feature pipelines, training workflows, model serving, experimentation tooling, and infrastructure;
• Transition research and experiments into reliable production systems;
• Maintain accountability for significant components of the recommender stack from design through deployment and operation;
• Instrument and improve systems in production to ensure continuous refinement based on real-world performance;
• Contribute to the personalization roadmap by backing technical directions with data and user evidence;
• Raise the technical bar through code and design reviews, technical guidance, and setting examples for production ML craft.

• 3+ Years of experience building and operating production ML systems;
• Fluency in Python and Apache Spark;
• Working knowledge of backend and platform stacks including Kafka and Kubernetes;
• Statistical literacy for designing experiments and evaluating model metrics;
• Operational judgment to diagnose system misbehavior under load and deploy fixes;
• Hands-on experience with AI tooling such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot;
• Strong product sense and ability to translate technical initiatives into business value;
• Bias to ship and maintain full accountability for project implementation;
• Nice to have: Production experience with recommender systems or large-scale personalization.
