BJAK operates a mobile-first insurance platform in Southeast Asia, currently expanding into a broader financial services ecosystem that includes spending, saving, investing, and travel tools. The company focuses on developing AI-driven financial applications to improve accessibility and user experience for a wide audience.

• Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, and AI-assisted user journeys;
• Transform complex financial flows into simple, fast, and reliable mobile experiences;
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI engineers to take features from idea to production;
• Own app quality regarding performance, crash rates, loading states, edge cases, and release stability;
• Utilize production feedback, analytics, and customer behavior to iterate and improve features post-launch;
• Integrate APIs, authentication, and secure data handling with a focus on reliability.

• Strong native Android experience using Kotlin;
• Experience shipping Android apps used by real users;
• Deep understanding of Android architecture, Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern development practices;
• Strong product sense and focus on UX;
• Ability to debug production issues and improve performance and reliability;
• Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment;
• English (fluent);
• Nice to have: Proven track record of building, shipping, or scaling serious products or systems.
