• Architect and implement robust, scalable backend systems capable of supporting millions of active users;
• Build and maintain services throughout the entire lifecycle, from initial model design to production support;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code;
• Participate in code reviews and mentor peers on engineering best practices;
• Tackle complex engineering problems, including large-scale graph-based systems and data migrations;
• Optimize system performance and address bottlenecks;
• Implement logging, monitoring, and tracing practices to ensure system health;
• Collaborate with DevOps, ML engineers, and product managers to ensure smooth integrations and production deployment of fraud detection models.

• 5+ Years of professional software development experience;
• Proficiency in Java/Kotlin and the Spring framework ecosystem;
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis;
• Hands-on experience in domain modeling and REST API design;
• Experience with observability tools including logging, monitoring, and tracing;
• Proven track record of delivering scalable and maintainable systems;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills;
• Nice to have: Experience with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, Kafka, machine learning–centric systems, graph databases (e.g. Neo4j, Memgraph, Amazon Neptune), or columnar databases (e.g. ClickHouse, Apache Cassandra).
