• Own data quality for existing data pipelines and develop an end-to-end quality framework covering outages, freshness, and accuracy;
• Collaborate on continuously improving data quality and match data across downstream and upstream systems;
• Enable data quality framework development with other engineers, validate requirements and stories, and assess current capabilities;
• Partner with software engineering teams building frameworks on MonteCarlo, Great Expectations, and Sentry through short iterations to deliver business value quickly;
• Help implement new tools and practices to improve data and code quality, including researching and sourcing third-party tools and libraries and developing in-house tools to improve workflows and quality for data engineers and operations team members.

• 4+ Years of experience designing and building systems for collecting, storing, and analyzing data at scale;
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and make decisions based on day-to-day and complex customer problems;
• Hands-on experience handling large datasets and using Python and SQL for data analysis;
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, DBT, cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Contract position for 4+ months with likely extension into next year.
