• Build, operate, and further develop a scalable data platform (Warehouse / Lake / Lakehouse);
• Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for integrating diverse data sources;
• Ensure data quality, performance, scalability, and cost optimization;
• Implement monitoring, governance, and security concepts (including GDPR);
• Collaborate closely with analytics, product, and engineering teams;
• Automate data processes and continuously improve existing architectures;
• Shape the data strategy and evaluate new technologies.

• Several years of experience in data engineering or a comparable role;
• Very good programming skills in Python and SQL, along with clean engineering standards (tests, CI/CD);
• Solid understanding of modern data architectures and data modeling;
• Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and common data tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark, Snowflake);
• High quality and ownership mindset for productive data pipelines;
• Ability to communicate technical solutions clearly and translate business requirements;
• Team player with an interest in mentoring and continuous professional development;
• Fluent English (required);
• Nice to have: German language skills.
