Valletta.Software develops custom mobile and web software for clients in the US and Europe, including websites, mobile applications, enterprise systems, and artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.

• Lead the design and evolution of scalable distributed systems in Go;
• Own AI integration and configuration, from model selection and API integration to prompt engineering and production deployment;
• Translate business goals into technical roadmaps and delivery plans;
• Conduct architecture reviews and code reviews;
• Mentor senior engineers;
• Represent engineering in external stakeholder meetings and challenge unrealistic requirements;
• Drive improvements to CI/CD, observability, and engineering processes;
• Balance hands-on coding with team leadership and architectural oversight.

• 5–6+ Years of commercial experience with Go;
• 2+ Years in a technical leadership or lead engineer role;
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices, and Go concurrency, including goroutines, channels, and sync primitives;
• Hands-on experience implementing, configuring, or integrating AI/ML solutions in production backend systems, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, OpenAI APIs, LangChain, or similar AI/ML frameworks;
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and modern DevOps practices;
• Higher education in Computer Science or a related field;
• Readiness to work CEST hours and use a corporate laptop;
• English C1.
