Generative AI engineer

We are looking for an AI Solutions Engineer to join an innovative team focused on designing and delivering cutting-edge Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and AI Agents, combined with the ability to interact directly with clients, understand business needs and turn them into scalable AI solutions. The professional will play a key role in developing and implementing AI-based products and services, leveraging cloud technologies and modern software engineering practices.

• Design, develop and implement Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions in enterprise environments
• Create and orchestrate AI Agents to automate business processes and improve the user experience
• Develop applications and services using Python and AI frameworks
• Design and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
• Integrate AI solutions with business platforms and enterprise systems
• Work directly with clients to gather requirements, provide technical advice and present solutions
• Contribute to solution architecture, deployment pipelines and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure the adoption of software engineering best practices, including CI/CD and version control

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering or a related field
• Portuguese nationality or legal authorization to work in Portugal
• Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Strong communication skills with clients and stakeholder management
• Solid experience in Python development
• Solid knowledge of Generative Artificial Intelligence
• Solid knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Solid knowledge of RAG architectures
• Solid knowledge of AI Agents
• Solid knowledge of Prompt Engineering
• Solid knowledge of the design and implementation of AI solutions
• Experience with Azure OpenAI Services
• Knowledge of GitHub and CI/CD practices
• Understanding of integrations with enterprise systems
