• Maintain and optimize a large-scale serverless backend with over 160 routes;
• Evolve the backend architecture as the system grows;
• Implement immutable double-entry ledgers;
• Manage migration-driven schemas;
• Build scalable architectures using API route handlers and service layers;
• Integrate Stripe payments and complex authentication methods like Passkeys and TOTP;
• Ensure system reliability through testing with Jest and Playwright;
• Manage production infrastructure including AWS RDS, S3, and observability tools.

• 8+ Years of experience in software development with a deep focus on Back-end architecture;
• University degree in computer sciences;
• Mandatory domain expertise in Finance and Insurance with an understanding of financial logic and data integrity;
• Deep knowledge of Next.js 16 (App Router) and TypeScript;
• Expertise in PostgreSQL and raw SQL without ORMs;
• Strong experience with React 19 and Tailwind v4;
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS, S3, Sentry/Axiom, and GitHub Actions;
• English B2+;
• Nice to have: Experience with Java, AI/LLM integrations, regulatory compliance and security standards in Fintech/Insurtech, PDF generation (react-pdf / pdf-lib), pluggable email provider layers, experience in early-stage startups, understanding of Node 24 features and modern web standards.
